On the 13th of July, Faircape Life village residents joined Pieter-Dirk Uys (better known as the lesser half of Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout) in receiving the second round of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines. While Pieter got jabbed at his local clinic, Faircape Life villagers were vaccinated on-site (followed by coffee served hot and with a smile).
On a brisk Wednesday morning at Clé du Cap, the club house was bustling with activity. Staff carefully arranged seats to accommodate residents before they began to arrive at 9 a.m. sharp. The fireplace burned warmly to the gentle overtures of piano classics.
Residents punctually arrived to receive their second vaccination, and were warmly greeted by Village Manager Angie Massey. Angie, the ever gracious hostess, oversaw the tea and coffee table while catching up on all the latest news from residents.
The gentle hum of conversation prevailed in the club house as residents chatted the morning away. Faircape Health care workers dutifully captured the vaccination data and administered the injections. After receiving the jab, residents lounged comfortably while being served hot coffee.
Staff really shone and showed their commitment to excellence. Despite the tremendous logistical challenges behind the scenes, they made it look so easy. Thank you all!
Here’s what some of our villagers had to say:
“Just to say thanks for arranging the above. It was like being in a First Class lounge. Seamless. We are privileged. 😊🌹💉”
